It's hard to put the experience of Vegas into words. There's so much to see and do there that you can easily get overwhelmed by it all. Compared almost any other place I've been, the city feels otherworldly both in its charms and its vices.
This Old Town
Street Photography is tricky exercise. On the one hand, it requires a lot of skill and focus but it can also be fun and whimsical. That's what I enjoy about it but learning to bring it all together is something that I am not very well practiced in. So this past weekend, I got together with a group fellow photographers to go on a walking tour of downtown Macon, GA and really try to hone my craft.
Shots taken during some mornings going around my home state of Ekiti in Nigeria. I was actually surprised when I came across those thatch huts. I grew up in Ado and I had never seen them before. Everyone I knew lived in concrete houses.
Deli's Cafe, Lagos
Deli's Cafe is a relatively new spot in Victoria Island, Lagos. My friends and I decided to meet up there for brunch one Sunday Afternoon. It seemed to be quite the popular spot. The place was packed when my brother and I first arrived. After my first bite of their roast beef sandwhich, I soon figured out why.
National Corvette Museum
My mom, my sister and I went out to Bowling Green, Kentucky for family friend's birthday party. While we were in town, my sister and I went exploring. That's how we ended up at the National Corvette Museum. If you ever find yourself in Bowling Green, Kentucky, you should definitely check the place out.
A Day at the Beach
My friends (Aaron, Elle, and Ivana) and I drove down to Savannah, GA for a day. On the way down, I realized that it was my first time going to the beach in the USA. We first went out Tybee Island, one of the many islands near Savannah, and then hung out on the river walk. After that, we met up with Peggy, one of Aaron's friends. All in all, it was a fun day.
